We are proud to have given the Assembly Hall of St Aidan’s Church of England Primary School a refreshing facelift, providing a much more comfortable environment for children and staff.
Acting on this occasion as Principal Contractor, Floorscan Acoustics was able to offer the specialist sound and thermal insulation element of the work, including specification, in a self-contained package. By providing all other services to achieve the new lighting, additional joinery works and complete re-decoration, Floorscan was able to achieve the client’s goal of best results at best value – and on time and to the penny of the tight budget.
The client’s 3-point brief:
Acoustic – eliminate the intrusive noise from rain impacting on the roof.
Visual – replace the imposing industrial look with a fresh interior.
Thermal –reduce heat loss to improve comfort at less running cost.
The Contract Administrator for the project, Andrew Doyle of MA Doyle ltd said:
“Floorscan were extremely helpful and professional from start to finish and were mindful at all times of the Client’s objectives. I would highly recommend their services and look forward to working with them in the future.”
Julian Roger, Head Teacher, said:
“We are all very pleased with our fantastic new hall. Everyone who comes in is very impressed with the changes made. The improvements to the ceiling mean that assemblies are no longer interrupted by the rain!”
