We were contacted by the head teacher regarding the extensive reverberation time in the main hall.
A site survey confirmed that the main hall far exceeded the maximum recommended values in Building Bulletin 93 and it was apparent that any music teaching had to be facilitated in classrooms.
A scheme was put together using Sonata Vario panels to both the ceilings and walls but related to a strict budget figure with an option for additional work if thought necessary.
Following Completion and on-site testing a Tmf 1.3 seconds was achieved. This has now enabled the school to utilise the hall in a much more productive way and the Head Teacher commented:
“It looks fantastic, is a massive improvement and the staff can now hear themselves think”.
