A large number of our educational establishments suffer from poor acoustics. Children with normal hearing are often unable to make out what is being said in class.
The aim of BB93 is to provide a regulatory framework for the acoustic design of schools in support of the Building Regulation and to give a benchmark for acceptable minimum standards in existing establishments.
Floorscan have carried out numerous educational surveys providing reports and solutions in ensuring these minimum requirements can be met.
